Hiring: Grant Writer (Contract)

Job Description:

Tibi Agency is seeking a passionate and skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding opportunities to support our mission of championing musicians with disabilities. You will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant applications to various foundations, government agencies, and other funding sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Research: Conduct thorough research to identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other funding sources that align with Tibi Agency's mission and programs.

Grant Writing: Develop compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other application materials that effectively communicate Tibi Agency's impact, programs, and funding needs. Tailor each proposal to meet the specific requirements and priorities of the funding organization.

Collaboration: Work closely with Tibi Agency's leadership team and program staff to gather necessary information, data, and insights for grant proposals. Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment between grant activities and organizational goals.

Grant Submission: Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including preparing all required documents, gathering supporting materials, and submitting applications by the deadlines.

Grant Reporting: Coordinate with program staff to collect relevant data and information for grant reporting requirements. Ensure timely and accurate submission of grant reports and compliance with funder guidelines.

Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with funders, donors, and other stakeholders to strengthen Tibi Agency's grant-seeking efforts and increase funding opportunities over time.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector or arts/music industry.

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals.

  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Passion for music, disability advocacy, and social justice.
